What Product I Am Using

How do I identify which product I am using?


Print Audit software falls under two categories - Device Management (DM) and User Management (UM).  Below is a description of the two.  The links will give a general overview and a sample screenshot of each product to help you identify the product.

Device Management – refers to managing physical print devices (desktop printers and multifunction copiers)  by office equipment dealers.  This involves collecting meter reads, toner levels and device status for an end customer’s printer fleet.

User Management – refers to managing who/how/when print devices are accessed by users.  Print, copy and scan jobs are tracked on a per job basis.   This tracking is used to recover costs, restrict access or analyze an end customer’s print environment.
