I get an error message that Copy Audit could not connect with a SocketError 10060


The following error message occurs when you try and add a Copy Audit device in the Print Audit Administrator:

Print Audit could not connect to the Copy Audit box.
CopyTrack::SocketError - 10060 - The attempt to connect timed out.


  • The network cable is unplugged or there is a problem with either the network cable or the network jack.
  • There is no power to the Copy Audit device.


  • Plug in the network cable and ensure that the cable and network jack are active. You can try a different cable or a different network jack to troubleshoot.
  • Plug in the power adapter and ensure that the Copy Audit device is on.
  • Ensure that you are using the most recent version of Print Audit.
