Updating Device Tracking Levels in Bulk

You can change the tracking levels of all devices in a scope using the Update Device Tracking Levels page. If you have access, you can Update Device Tracking Levels by navigating to Device Management, then to Update Device Tracking Levels.

Updating Device Tracking Levels


In order to change the device tracking levels on a scope, you must fill in the following information:

  • Dealer, Customer Group, Customer or Site: The scope that you want to change devices under. Only devices on sites in this scope will be affected.
  • From Tracking Level: The tracking level to change from.
  • From Managed Type: The managed type to change from.
  • To Tracking Level: The tracking level to change to.
  • To Managed Type: The managed type to change to.

When you have finished making your selections, an Update button will be shown and clicking this button will change all devices in the scope that match the from tracking level and managed type to the new values. Changes will take effect immediately. 

If no devices are updated, you will receive a message indicating that there were not devices that matched the update.
