**UPDATED 6/23/2020: Edge and the UM client service**

Microsoft has recently undertaken measures to materially increase the Security of the Edge browser, and some of these enhancements are also being applied to Internet Explorer.

One area that they have made significant changes in is affecting the ability of our client to track print events raised by Edge.

We are currently exploring, how will be able to re-instate Edge tracking going forward, at the current time, this is a known limitation of the product.

UPDATE:
Another side effect of this is that you may experience inflated CPU usage by Edge when the workstation client service starts or restarts. Restarting Edge will resolve the inflated CPU usage.

Development is aware of this additional issue and are working to resolve it as well.

UPDATE 6/23/2020:
Both the issue and limitation above can be resolved by updating to the Chromium based version of Edge. This can be tracked, and is not affected by starts of the Client Service.
