Embedded for Kyocera Access Print Audit Server Error

Issue: Error message displayed on MFP console Cannot access Print Audt server.   You may continue with limited functionality.  Contact your administrator.

Cause: This warning occurs with the Konica Embedded application cannot contact the Print Audit Database Communicator on the server to authenticate users.  When this message is displayed, users may continue to use the MFP but jobs will not be tracked.

Solution: Determine why the Database Communicator is not available to the device:

  • Verify the Database Communicator is running on the server.
  • Verify that the location of the Database Communicator has been properly configured.
  • Check to see if there are issues with network communication between the Kyocera and the server such as a firewall.
