License Reactivation


Print Audit must be activated in order to operate within an environment. In some situations it is necessary to re-activate the license. Some examples of this are:

License Modifications
  • Purchased additional Seats
  • Extended Trial/ License Expiration Date
  • Modified the Company name on the License
Server Changes
  • Change of Server MAC address
  • Change of Server hostname
  • Change of Database Location
  • Creation of a new Database
Activating a Print Audit 6 License:
  1. Launch the Print Audit Administrator (If prompted with the Print Audit 6 Licensing Window go to Step 3)
  2. Select Tools -> View/Change License
  3. Select Activate License
  4. Enter the Company Name and License Key exactly as provided. Click Activate
  5. Restart the Database Communicator Service
To Verify License Modifications have been applied Launch the Administrator tool and select Tools -> View/Change License.

To Verify Server Change related License errors have been resolved close and re-launch the Administrator tool. If no License error is encountered the issue has been resolved.
