Print Audit Embedded for Sharp giving "Cannot Connect to Accounting Server" intermittently

Issue:  Intermittently, the copier display will show the message "Cannot Connect to Accounting Server".  On a retry or a reboot of the Sharp MFP, the device connects OK.

Cause:  Under IIS 7, the Print Audit Embedded for Sharp application is loosing it's session information.

Solution:  In IIS 7, the following changes need to be made:

  1. Locate the Application Pool that the Print Audit Embedded site is using.  This can be done by expanding the "Default Web Site".  Highlight "pa6sharp" and click on "Basic Settings".
  2. Go up to "Application Pools" and select the appropriate Pool.
  3. Click on "Advanced Settings" 
  4. In the Process Models section, change the "Idle Time-out (minutes) to 0.  Click OK.
  5. On the right hand side of IIS, click on Recycling under Edit Application Pool.
  6. Uncheck ALL of the boxes on the Recycling Conditions.  Click Next.
  7. Click Finish.
  8. Restart the Application Pool.  Under Application Pools Tasks, click Stop then Start.
