Not receiving secure notifications

If you aren't receiving notifications from the Secure Notifier, it likely has become 'decoupled' from the secure service running on the machine.

Typically this would be the case if the Secure Service was stopped and started (for example to change the Secure URL or the logging level.) When the service stops, the Secure notifier will no longer receive messages from the secure service.  Restarting the service doesn't start notifications, because the notifier is looking at a Secure service 'session' which no longer exists.

To resolve this, exit the Secure Notifier by right clicking on the Secure icon in the system tray and selecting exit, then restarting the Secure Notifier.
